Our story

Jennifer and Faith are a mother/daughter doula team who are passionate about preserving the beauty of motherhood and family. As professional birth workers, we support women and families before, during and after the birth with a goal to help ensure a safe and satisfying birth and postpartum experience. Providing excellent support to first time moms, and any woman who desires to approach their motherhood journey wisely, naturally and holistic is among our specialties. We are here to support you and your family during your pregnancy and birth experience.

For over three years, we have offered prenatal appointments both in-person and remotely and have assisted laboring women both in hospital and in-home birth settings. We are CPR and NRP certified. It is our goal to help you become well informed, equipped and prepared to make decisions that you deem best suit your interests and goals, and help you achieve your desired outcomes.

We are also both certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialists.

At times and when deemed appropriate and beneficial, we may consult with and/or engage other trustworthy assistants and professionals to assist us in providing you support, accommodate your preferences and help you meet your birth goals. Overall, it is our goal to honor you and your preferences (within reason and as ethical) as you are in charge of your health, and we will come along side you as an invited guest and trusted member of your birth and recovery team.

What is a doula?

The word “doula” comes from the Greek term meaning servant—and that’s exactly how we approach each birth: with a heart to serve, support, and walk beside you through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum days.

You deserve to feel truly seen, heard, and empowered during this life-changing journey. Birth is not one-size-fits-all. Everyone has unique hopes, fears, and visions for how they want their experience to unfold—and honoring that is at the core of what we do.

The support you receive during labor can profoundly shape how you remember your birth. Our role is to create a calm, nurturing environment tailored specifically to your needs and desires. Whether that means holding space for your voice, offering comfort measures, or simply being a steady, reassuring presence—we are here for you.

This is your birth, and we are here to ensure you feel confident, supported, and fully respected every step of the way.

“A woman, as long as she lives, will remember how she was made to feel at her birth.”
